Beware of nirvanero

By looking at that clip close up in zoom mode, you can easily tell that the knife has been carried at some point. I would say no that knife is NOT NIB.

Knife looks carried but not used to me, so in my book it is NOT NIB.

A deal is not a deal until both parties are happy, that's the standard here at BFC. That's a major reason why I only ship CONUS, this way if the deal has to be reversed the shipping charges won't end up more than the value of the knife.

So, the buyer ships back the knife that arrived from the seller and the seller refunds the purchase price of the knife. End of story and the only fair end of story!!!

I understand your point and that's why I told two people from this forum to ship to Knifeworks, as it's almost impossible getting that knifes elsewhere. I think that both parties won't be happy as he only wants to pay $300, not even taking into account I chose an expensive shipping to protect the knife in customs, nor considering he told me shipping was more expensive than actually was...

I gave him the option to sell it to me at a lower price but he's not in the mood to talk about it. I think he's just waiting for this to be forgotten.

Time to undo the deal and get back to square 1.

Yes, but if I lose $130 in shipping costs I won't be happy and I guess if he doesn't make some money of this won't be happy neither... he started lying about shipping costs from the very beggining to get some extra $5 or $10, then he thought his sharpening skills were that good noboy would tell the difference... what kind of happy ending could you expect?
 
If that is indeed the knife that was listed as NIB, then benyaM95 has some explaining to do.

What a mess. I do think the knife has been carried due to pocket clip photo. If I was Benya I'd come to a money agreement and pay it. Save the shipping back and forth.

In any event - if he is not happy - send me MY knife back.
MY knife - not a DIFFERENT knife - and he gets his money back.
About shipping - I paid, in total just over $90. I told his from a start, when he requested UPS and I called them for the rate, it's gonna be $95.
I had to go to UPS store, spend my time and gas - Post Office is only 2 min away, but he did not want Canada Post.

All of the above has been repeated by me at least 3 or 4 times - I thing that's plenty.

Anybody has any questions - read my posts in this thread.

Igor has been here over 4 years with an excellent transaction history. 55 positive feedback plus positive transactions where feedback wasn't left plus who knows how many positive transactions before itrader was even active. Roberto has been here 3 weeks, has no transaction history, and has no post history outside of this mess, yet people are hurling stones at Igor like he's some kind of rampant scammer. What up with that? Calling him a hypocrite and a bully? Bah.

I'm not taking sides on this thing as I don't know Roberto from Adam, but I know I'd deal with Igor any day and get exactly what he told me I was getting.

So, is the knife in the pictures nirvanero posted yours or not? I don't understand what you are implying, here... Do you want us to believe he would shell out close to $400 to exchange a NIB Millie (yours) for a sharpened and lightly used one (his)? Do you also think we are stupid?
And what about that other deal that went sour, the DMT aligner one? How strange, another new member who claims that you sent him a used and sharpened knife...
Oh, and by some kind of fortuitous computer incident you don't have the original pictures of your knife, the same ones that you deleted from your sales thread. And weren't those pictures hosted online somewhere? What, the photobucket server crashed, too?

Ahh. At least we "kind of" got an answer. You're saying those are pictures of a different S90V Military. And, from what I can gather, you're saying you will not accept the knife in the picture as being "your" knife? I'll go ahead and say this: I think you've acted shady throughout this entire thing. I think you're being evasive, and you've got something to hide. You refuse to directly answer questions, and once the tides turned against you... you say you're not going to participate in the thread -you- started. Regardless of the outcome of this transaction, I will not be dealing with you in the future. And, I'm probably not the only one who feels like this. I don't think you've handled business like a man should. Period.

Now you don't have any photo... what a surprise Igor. You just sold the knife and edited your post. Did you erase photos from the server too? Did you add shipping costs because you had to get out of your house? All you say sounds so funny that you're lucky I'm just a newbie, but I'm not he first newbie having problems with you and used stuff...

UPS called me on saturday morning because the package's papers were missing, so I sent you an email telling about it and you just dind't answer. I guess from that very moment I started thinking something was going wrong, as I usually have lots of mails with people I buy from.

For those arguing I don't have any posts... I just got here to buy knifes sorry. If you want to visit Spydercoforums where I have two galleries, one of them with +1800 views you're welcome, but I guess the important photos are on this forum.
