Beware of nirvanero

Apparently he does not realize that he acted like a crook on this deal (and others before).
I have seen members with better transaction records being banned for lesser infractions, like trolling, I think it is unfair that Benya should get a pass just because he is smart enough to shut up and wait till this goes away.

From what I've seen, scammers and such aren't immediately banned in the GB&U. Instead they are given time, often accompanied by private communication with a mod, to straighten up and fly right before being banned.
 
I am just surprised by the fact that no mod has posted in either thread so far (actually, three threads if one considers the one about the "used" DMT stones). I hope this mess is not viewed by them as a simple disagreement about the condition of a knife.

I think that's just what he pretends, not saying a word and wait till people forget about this. Anyway, I really don't know what he could do against all that's been said against him. Maybe accusing me of paying everybody to lie?

I don't know how moderators act in this situations but I've read about too many bad deals with Igor in these threads to just ignore his behaviour. I hope this has nothing to do with the fact he's a paying member and just mods didn't pay attention on what's going on.

I don't look for points, just hope people know what Igor did to some members. I don't know if I wrote correctly my thoughts, maybe this sounds better (maybe not):

"I hope this has nothing to do with the fact he's a paying member, maybe admins didn't pay attention at this thread"

I wasn't attacking admins, anyway they'll do (or don't) what they think it's necessary for this forum.

No, we're subject to the rules just like everyone else. In fact, in many cases, behavior like this is even more frowned on by long-standing, paying members. Because, they should know better. I don't know why the Mods haven't commented on this thread, but I can assure you that they've been watching it, and it will be dealt with. You can take that to the bank.

I know there is some people who don't like others to analyze photographs, but I'd like you to see Igor's photos and mine. I should be an artist to clone the sharpening of two blades... they're THE SAME KNIFE. I said it's hard to tell in his photo if it was a factory edge or not as you have to use macro. He didn't show the clip, the defect on CF is only visible in certain angles, the rust was on the back of the blade... he said it was a NIB knife and I trusted him... my mistake.

I don't know how much can be said... He sold a used knife as a NIB. Didn't want to make a discount, didn't want to return all the money. Maybe he's done 54 good deals, but he's lied more than once and now that I made two good deals (as it should be) on this forum I left my negatve feedback.

I actually think his second picture shows the sharpened edge better than yours did. It's obviously the same knife.

The problem is that I couldn't imagine someone to tell such a lie with 54 positive feedback. I just believed his word and didn't analyze the photo. Anyway, if I had asked him if it was a re-sharpened blade I guess he woudn't told me...
 
Now wait a one cotton picking minute the Spanish dude said he has a bunch of other millies in his collection how do we know the pics are not one of his. nirvanero you can end this whole just send Igor HIS knife and he refunds you your money and you can go frolic in the sunshine

Open your eyes before your mouth, that knife is obviously the same one. Your comment was dumb :thumbdn:

*added* Oh and its not HIS (benyas) knife until he buys it back, including all the S&H charges that would not of came about had benya described the knife accurately.

So Benya, now that we know nirvanero isnt just posting pics of a diff knife (you can tell by the tip and start of the grind) your argument about him taking pics of a different one is now invalid. Its weird that he was able to locate the pics, but the guy who took them couldnt :confused: I think its fair to say you should speak up now. Your silence is doing you more bad then good.
 
His lack of intrest to make this problem right is not what I expected from a well established Senior member of this forum.

I'm starting to think a banning is in order if this is not made right by benya.
