MBwirenut Doesnt Deliver

my bussefan incident was very similar. except bussefan's thread was his first post.

but i was skeptical, so i waited for a couple others to buy from him and receive their knives. they had nothing but good things to say.

so i grab a knife at a pretty good price. he said he shipped but usps returned the package to the sender. he said they would reship at no charge. 6 weeks later no knife, and that was the last i heard from him. no more posts, emails or pm's.

This sucks. Im sorry Brother

Possibly the knife was stolen in transit. It has happened to me before. Also if you bought the knife via a credit card, but used a credit card to pay with paypal, then you could just open a credit card dispute against paypal to get the extra $200. i do warn you paypal gets very mad at these actions and may close your account. I wish ya the best.

i didnt pay with a credit card. paypal did their thing and got back most of the money. but what upset me most was bussefan's total disregard for communiction.

i sent a letter to him, no response. i didn't call since i figured he had nothing else to offer. i sent numerous pm's and emails and had the paypal dispute. he had plenty of opportunities to open a dialogue.

I didnt use a credit card to fund my purchase through Paypal it was a echeck. At this time the way he still not accepting responseability for the whole screw up i highly doubt anything good will ever come from this except others will know you can not trust this guy.

I personally would be willing to drive a great distance to have a face to face conversation with someone who has ripped me off.
Has this never happened around here?
If it is very far away.....I will plan my next vacation in that area;)

Morimotom, Why don't you call in a small courtousy and have someone from his local PD drop in with some questions?:grumpy:

i would beware of confronting someone on there home turf, though sometimes i dont take my own advice lol, still not a good idea, if ya do it ya best think it thru first, things can get ugly fast and you are the one showing up lookin for trouble, cops aint gonna like that i bet. sucks getting ripped off for a knife but sucks more to have legal problems over the deal.

if mori knows some LEO's in that area.........maybe so, but i would still call the guy 1st myself.

Ripping people off over the internet is a cowardly crime.
The same person will not have the stones to steal from you in person.

agree 100% with the 1st statement and the second is almost always true too but not 100% its been my experience that a sho' nuff' thief will steal whenever and from whomever he can.

Any movement on this? It seems he has had adequate time to fix this, to me.
all da best,
