So you weren't happy with the deal, why did you not do us both a favor and return the knife for a full complete refund?

And the answer is you were fine with the transaction and that's why you locked the thread. Until now...
We have not had any transactions since then so why is this thread open?

Actually, If you must know, I bought the entire set. And for a profit? Did you even bother to clicky on that link and see the price, along with the sticker tag? No, I didnt think so. Again, go start your own thread if you refuse to stay on topic. And keep that companies name out of this thread if you have any sense at all.

Self declared Insurance man, Why did you not do the right thing (confirmed by the majority here) and just return what was rightfully mine?

You are probably correct..Nobody has an inventory like you do...I have to agree with the part that is bolded though..You are crazy if you think $11 is worth the headache of this thread that will follow your rep for a very long time...$11 whole dollars traded for a rep that might have been repaired..$11 whole dollars will cost you thousands, if not tens of thousands on this forum. Unfortunately, it all boils down to pride and greed. If you had worked on those two faults, I don't think these threads would have taken on the life they have. Good luck to you sir..You are going to need it.

Because I did not want you to have the knife and wanted it back. I wanted to give you your money back and sell that knife to someone else.

So why did you reopen this dead thread after 1.5 years?

And for what, the tenth time, I already quoted the post which led me to re-open this. Fed up Dan. And me re-opening it isnt the issue Dan, your actions are, when will you see that?

It's not about $11, it's not that easy, this thread was locked before because he was ok with everything. Now it is reopened for a reason, and we haven't had any transactions so he is trying to slander my name. So I'm posting to show he had every oportunity to un-do the entire transaction which I wanted to do but he refused. So since that is what he choose to do, he should just be happy with it. It was his choice!

It's quite simple really. Because you short changed him, all he wanted was the correct amount of change back. He still wanted the knife, he just wanted the correct amount of money he was due in return.
 
Boy, I just read this thread and wow... If I had been trying to find a particular Busse, there is no way in hell I'd pay for it and NOT expect REAL insurance. I have no dog in this particular fight, but it cracks me up how Mr Huang deflects the question of charging money for something he didnt provide. Then, when it turns on him, rather than refund the money for what wasnt provided, he says he wanted to buy the knife back...

Hey, quick question, if he HAD taken your offer to buy the knife back, would YOU have been ok with the lousy packaging and no insurance on it when it was shipped back to you?
 
This fiasco was YOUR choice, Liu Kang, but I'm glad dericdesmond has the balls to call you out even after it was closed. You are a disgrace to the knife industry and an embarrassment to this forum. I used to enjoy the Busse exchange and the spirit of camaraderie but your market-busting prices and hoarder mentality have RUINED it. I hope that Jerry reads this thread, a man of his integrity will probably not let you continue to drag his product and forum down and your gravy days will soon be over.

I appreciate the support, but lets remember, Busse has nothing to do with this. Dont let 1 guy ruin it for ya. It bothers me when I read Dan has turned people off to Busse. Just put him on ignore and enjoy the blades brutha. After spending time with the crew at blade for my first time this year, all I got to say is that it gets NO better then the Busse Crew.
 
out of curiousity, if Mr. Kang paid the 11 bucks back to Mr. Dericdesmond at this point, would the dispute be over? or has it moved further along to other issues beyond the original problem, and there is no going back? thanks in advance....

Because you never changed your ways during all this time and continue to conduct unethical business practices, especially preying on newbs and the uninformed.

You never did the right thing. You took payment for something you promised but didn't deliver (insurance) and you still have not been willing to refund a measly amount of money. Obviously greed is your only motivation, not honor.

I would put the $ in the trash. Now its simply about informing others.

Im happy with not posting anymore, but Id like to leave it open so others can be informed and post if they ever have a similar situation. Ive had others email me saying they have experienced the same thing with Dan. Most people just dont wanna have to deal with this kind of BS so they sweep it under the rug. Please, if you have had a similar situation happen when purchasing off of LK, dont be afraid, post it.

added*, I have forgiveness in my heart, we could defiantly go back if Dan was willing to grow up and do whats right. Not so much with this situation, but with the communities complaints as a whole.

Whu is it so important that he refunds the knife? If its a knife he wanted he payed for it and its his, Iv read the this whole thing it seems that all the guy wants is for you to admit you cheated himout of his 11.80 refund that amount and say your sorry for not being more carefull in your wrapping of the knife.
I feel that a sellers first priority is to make the customer happy so that repeat buisness can be done more money made and more good things are said about you thus bringing in more customers.
If i were you Lk i would have swalloed my pride along time ago done what was right sent the 11.80 back and avoided this whole thing.
 
Maybe Liu wanted it back because he had someone lined up who wanted to give him more than he sold it for.
