My experience with Liu Kang

Martyr? You might want to grab a dictionary before using that term.

There is a rather large difference between a martyr and a martyr complex. Further, I doubt that anyone has any issues with you investing time and effort in order to prove your belief in the illegality of LK's non-insurance insurance. What I, and I presume others, take issue with are your statements and implications regarding the members and moderators of this site having motivation to suppress you from further investigation.

Banned to keep you from posting? You hope you're around long enough to share your truths with us? Please. Any way you cut it, that's half tin foil hat territory, half martyr complex stuff.

This is the truth, I would say tht it is more of a persecution complex.

Whether it's martyr or martyr complex, you're way off. Furthermore, if you're doubting my impressions regarding what I now call the LK complex, then you obviously haven't been reading this thread. If you're having trouble with comprehension, let me know and I'll draw you some pictures, with pretty crayon colors.

Again, you don't know what the hell you're talking about, and I doubt you'd be qualified to keep up if I tried to explain it to you.

Has it taken you clowns this long to figure out the truth. If that is the case, I guess I need to feel sorry for you, please stop assuming everyone else is as slow to understand things.
Is that avatar of yours an actual photo? Perfect.

You guys should take this to Whine and Cheese and stop mucking up this thread, it would suck if this thread got closed because of nonsense.

That bicycle kick Liu Kang does always gets me....

To go along with your spelling complex?

How important is this insurance/legal argument to you? You seem more focused on insulting people. If so, we don't need you in this conversation. Since you deliberately chose to insult another moderator, as well, you know the consequences. We really don't need you on this forum.

Thank you, Esav!

Just summing things up a little...

Honestly, if a guy wants a PayPal upcharge and padded shipping and has lots of screw-you rules and caveats and overprices his items to begin with and has a bad reputation here, I look elsewhere for my purchases. Avoids some of the potential issues.

I have read this entire thread and made one conclusion, I will never buy anything from Liu Kang!!!!!!!!!!:thumbdn:

Glad I saw this thread. I am new here but have bought ten knives since I arrived. I'll never buy a knife from this dealer. Someone who gouges you every step of the way, cuts corners to save a couple bucks, and then rationalizes why he won't give back fees for services not delivered is an all around bad guy.

Thanks dericdesmond for the info. Thanks Liu Kang for telling me who you are through your own words.

Liu Kang liar supreme grand liar! Will not do bizness with him ever.....

I think there's enough word out there about this dealer and his poor practices that I'm surprised ANYONE does business with him anymore. I know that when I see his name attached to a Busse sales offer on the BF Exchange, I pass it by, no matter HOW desperately I want a particular model. 'Nuff said.

When I see LK's threads I just move on now, I used to browse through them but that is no longer the case, I can't imagine how rare a knife would have to be for me to want to purchase anything from the guy.

Liu Kang, you will never receive business from me and you can bet money you will receive only links to this thread when people ask if your trust worthy.

LK, you and I have never met, nor have we ever done business. That said, I can assure you, if you had pulled that $11 dollar crap on me, I would've ridden/beaten that horse all the way to hell and back.

I'm grateful to all those who've posted regarding LK's practices. Saved me a lot of time, money and grief.

Well if a fellow friend/acquaintance had not received an infraction recently and I had not looked into their posts to see what for, I would not have found out about this dealer and their practices.

Minus one customer for Liu Kang. Thanks BF community for being more thorough than I will ever be.

My $.02 - my $ will go elsewhere besides Liu Kang.

Liu, I have never ordered from you but there is a concept called future lost sales. You just lost all of my potential business in the future so enjoy your $11 today.

Wow...i recently almost made a transaction with Liu Kang....

This is the type of stuff i look for in sellers before i do business......

Glad i found this thread:)

I'll just avoid LK shit, seeing how this went down..

i didnt read every single post, but i did read enough to put liu kang on my do not buy from list.

thanks for sharing this information eric
- it's been immediately helpful in a purchase decision - thanks again for steering me clear of this cheat

And LK, you made it onto my radar long ago, and this isn't coming from one of your competitors as I do not sell my collection, and seeing as I have yet to make a knife this year, I have also not sold a knife this year. I reject you for what you are and how you act as if you do not care for what so many of us hold dear.

Before I do a transaction here I look at feedback, iTrader, and then I look at a couple of pages of your posts. If you are a contributer to the forum I am nicer to deal with. If you are a parasite that only exists in the exchange or only in areas to plug what you are selling, then I label you a parasite and treat you accordingly, if at all.

And you, 'sir' are the epitome of a BF parasite.

Very. interesting. damaging. informative. thread.

I am newish here and was drawn in by the great pics and variety in all the LIU KANG for sale threads.
Weeks of dreaming and browsing them before I started buying BusseKin here.
I am basically the exact person this thread helps the most, "Bussekin addicted and seeking the next grail"

Now I'll look differently on all those poor blades being held hostage by this person of questionable honor, true shame.

Very interesting smartassed liar exposing thread.

I chose to vote with my dollar -- I simply don't buy from some stores, websites and members.

Most expensive $11 "earned", ever!:applouse:

Was the OP wronged? Yep all day long and twice on Sunday! He is owed some coin by LK for services he paid for and didn't receive. Does this mean every time LK gets some positive feedback in the GB&U we gotta here about this? The OP sounds like the kid who wants his two dollars...Really??? Hey it's been over a year already, we got it...

As for LK, had I known this info before our transaction, there wouldn't have been one. My wants over ruled my common sense to research LK and it's quite possible I got screwed monetarily, the blade however was mint. I feel dirty now and think I'm gonna bury this nice blade right here in AFG and hopefully the bad LK karma with it. That being said however the transaction I had with LK was flawless, pun intended!

It's an easy fix for me, I just won't buy from either of you in the future. See the GB&U does work!!!

Not sure what you're talking about. I was about as reasonable and non-insulting as I'm likely to ever be with someone like Risen and it's not my, or anyone else's, fault that he is incapable of reciprocating. Or should we have treated him with kid gloves because he is obviously special? :)

Actually, I wish he had been able to finish his, errr, investigation and post the results here before crashing and burning. It just might have been interesting. But that, I believe, was always a secondary consideration for him.

As for LK, by this point anyone dealing with him should know that a smooth transaction (one without damaged knives sold knowing that Busse would warranty or services bought but not purchased or insultingly low ball offers, etc.) is pretty much a coin flip.

Well, insurance is like a warranty, unless something actually goes wrong, you can't collect on it. So if something should have gone wrong, I would have paid.

As for everyone, you can make a big list and form a line but not one of them have had a transaction with me and left me negative feedback, they are just followers.

Easy to say when you've never had to pay on a claim.

I've saved you're statement for posterity and to clearly acknowledge that you have said- You "Will Pay it the knife is lost or damaged".

You're missing the point.

Did you, or did you not take money for insurance, knowingly, and not put it towards its intended purpose?
Why would you accept money for insurance you had no intention of purchasing?
Why did you not refund this money if it was only a mistake?

Dont you refer warranties to the manufacturer, rather than take care of your customers yourself? Just curious.

In case you aren't reading what I write, I said I forgot to put insurance on it, if someone request insurance I usually purchase it but I'm not perfect and I'm sure you are. I told the seller that should anything have happened I would have paid for it or had it replaced, whatever he wanted. And despite what everyone thinks, I think I could scrap up that kind of money.

Keep in mind this thread is over 1.5 years old, I have grown more then five times in size and transactions with more and better shipping experiences.
