Bad How I got $700 stolen from me (CaptainFuzzy / TacticalEdge8541)

The shipping address they had me send the SNG to was the Grant Ave address, I wonder if they bought that knife from me (at my asking price of $199) to use as scam bait on another "trade" with some poor victim later?
 
Could we have a mod delete their contact information from their sales ads, if they contain a direct email address that is.

I don't mean to drum up a bunch of business for the already burdened mods, but if they are having folks directly contact them to set up sales, it may be bad news.
 
I highly suggest every single victim to call the local law office. You shall be expect a solid answer from the phone, since they already know what's going on, the more people/victim call in the more rapid they 'll react.

I'm naive as it gets when it comes to laws and legal stuff as I tend to behave like a good little boy, but after carefully reading the letter I believe it is just a Marsy's card, to give us our rights as victims and to assert them, since we are not local to where the Dorf committed his crimes and we did not talk to his local PD in person these were sent out and I believe we are supposed to respond back to "assert" our rights and thereafter receive any updates on the case. Again I'm naive in the subject so correct me if im wrong. I guess I will call the # tomorrow on the card.

Let me post some information for Bryan D. Falldorf, the Director of this whole drama. For there maybe no one who cares about his privacy, I had here some Court Records from his past. In total this gentlemen had earned 15 law records back in his early life.
This mister's criminal career went back to his early 19 in year 1997, a Vehicle Thift record. Other than that, he has 2*FORGERY, 1*ATTEMPTED CRIME, 1*THEFT, 1*Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor and other 7*dangerous driving records.
Draw your own conclusion, he may be a egomaniac/ an antisocialist /a misanthrope? I wonder whether will I still deal with him if I was a little CRAZY!

I think the correct term is sociopath. He needs 5 to 10 years of “rehabilitation,” which he is unlikely to receive in prison. After prison, if he ever finds gainful employment 10% of his earnings will go toward reimbursement of his victims. More than likely though he will just learn a new scam or “how not to get caught.” He doesn’t sound very bright, though, so likely he’ll continue to enjoy staycations on taxpayer dimes. Truly a poster child for the pro-choice crowd(as in, had he never been born...)

I've not heard anything and have not gotten anything in the mail from LE. I called early last week and provided my info to local LE.

I think you'll have the letter sooner or later. Since you had called in the local Leo should be able to take care of your situation.
And, for those who received the letter go ahead dail the attorney office phone number on it.
 
Update 11/07/17
According to North Dakota Petty Theft and Other Theft Laws, Our Bryan is facing a charge of Class C Felony Theft. Theft is a class C felony under North Dakota law if :
  • the value of the property or services stolen is more than $500
The punishment for a class C felony under North Dakota law includes a sentence of imprisonment of no more than five years, a fine of no more than $5,000, or both.
What best a victim can do:
You will be required to submit a documented account of your financial losses before the judge orders restitution. So the first thing you should do is collect and save any paperwork that directly relates to your loss.
