Now the seller is telling Paypal I didn't request insurance on the knife.
Has never offered more then $150 refund.
And says I will have to wait for refund (no $ value on refund) because his Paypal account is froze.
I have emailed seller in a timely matter each time he emails me, with a reply.
I am not dragging my feel.
Seller intered this post on his own.
Nobody knew who he was till he added repies.
Nor have I said anything negative about him.
He is the one with all the eyes on him because he chose to with his replies to this post.
He is complaining members are picking on him and bullying him.
He is being forced in to pay a refund.
His emails to me have a different attude to me.

He is going to get his 300.00 end of story braillediver you must be talking about some one else about rambaling. You can say what ever you want but my reputation in general is perfect and I have never had some one open up a paypal case on me ever. I think that specks for it self because that really all any of us have to go by. I am a honest person with integrity but I have found there is a lot of people on this site that are just here to play games

Seems you should have dealt with this in a prompt manner, if you don't like being publicly taken to task about the way you have handled this matter.
I myself always buy insurance and make sure the postal clerk, scans the DC tag and I have the tickets in a safe place. Then I keep a check on the item, I've sent to be sure it's delivered. Of course you won't like me telling you this, because of your great feedback on eBay and I'm calling you a liar. Truth is the one that likes to try to play games isn't us, it seems to be you from what I've read here.
Maybe you will mail another 300 dollar knife off with no insurance, or even delivery conformation? Or do you think you will do as you should have done in this case and avoid all this unpleasantness?

You're not very good at keeping your word...
It's a shame there is not some automatic pool folks could get into every time someone gets all bent and declares it's his/her/its last post on the subject. Why even if BF just skimmed 10% off the top, the site would be rolling in $$. That and I would probably do OK too.

Seller emailed me and said he was finished talking about this and would let Paypal decide.
Tried to go on to Paypal and make this a claim and Paypal would not let me.
Paypal kept timing me out and not excepting my claim.
Will try again later.

We have had people run into problems, and some of them put up an argument about it, but the ones who calm down and do what's right can end up members in good standing.
But coming here new, not knowing who we are, not knowing what we have come to expect from each other, and not wanting to hear it, either, is an inauspicious beginning.
Just as an example, Jill Jackson has been around a while, participates in many of our forums, and is universally known as a reliable source information about knives and a great friend and fine person to have around in our discussions.
You can't turn on people you don't know without alienating their friends who haven't spoken up in this thread, just lurking, just listening. The new kid on the block don't get to tell the good old boys (and girls) how to play the game.
We are a community.

He currently has no items for sale on eBay.
Apparently, English is a second language for him, so there is likely a cultural gap as well.
Perhaps he intends to do as others have done and simply create a new account to sell under. It would not surprise me to discover this is not the first time he's done this. These posts, including the misspellings, remind me of another seller from a few years back.
10-1 says his PayPal account was nearly empty at the time the dispute was filed. I don't think the OP will be seeing a refund from this guy.
Maybe it was the limited edition invisible HALO with stealth tracking?

Sounds like the seller escalated it to a claim. Check your PayPal messages to see if he posted inaccurate information. There are a few sellers who know how to work PayPal's claim system real well on other sale sites.
The buyer has made a claim with paypal and they have already taken the 300 out of my account. For the people that want keep discussing this it is going no where. I will help pay pal in any way. I conceder this matter close or a new thread about paypal if they do not give the buyer his money
